Women’s day celebration start in Shatabdi Vihar

International Women’s Day celebrations were kick-started from today March 5, 2022, at E3, Shatabdi Vihar society, Sector 52. The theme of the celebration was Clean Noida and Gender equality. Under this, a quiz was conducted on Solid Waste Management and a nukkad natak on the theme of gender equality was organized.

It was organized by the HCL Foundation in collaboration with RWA of Shatabdi Vihar, Sector 52, Noida.  HCL Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2011 that thrives in contributing toward national and international development goals, impacting the lives of people and communities through long-term sustainable programs.

As per the RWA, the event was successful. Not only women, but men too participated in the event zealously. Covid protocols were followed throughout the event.

Women present at the events were made aware of their rights. Awareness was also created on the importance of solid waste management and creating a sustainable future.

Anjali Sachdeva, General Secretary, RWA, E3 Shatabdi vihar say, "Noida has been actively participating in creating a better world for the residents and we are equally responsible for leaving a better world behind for future generations rather than heaps of garbage, bad air quality and land full of plastic."

Rahul Sharma, Vice President, RWA, E3 Shatabdi Vihar says, “Even today, females are barred from their basic fundamental rights. Our mission is to make women stronger and more self-aware. This can only happen when they know and realize their rights."
