Skin Checks: Getting skin cancer at an early age is very rare, however, it is still important to keep a tab of that. Regular skin checkups should be done of women in their 40s and 50s. You can do self-screening once a week by checking suspicious changes on the skin like texture and moles. Screenings by a medical professional are based on a patient’s risk factors. Some of the risk factors can be significant sun exposure, family history of skin cancer, sudden appearance of multiple unusual moles.

Blood Pressure Checkup: Hypertension is a growing lifestyle disease and regular checkups of high blood pressure can help one stay away from various  complications. Ones diagnosed with high blood pressure, you should also be screened for diabetes.

Cholesterol test: Many of us are living a sedentary lifestyle with an imbalanced routine. It is important to check cholesterol levels from your 20s. Early detection of an imbalanced cholesterol level can save you from chronic diseases like Cardiovascular disease, kidney problems and digestive issues.
