Dwarka: On the night of May 1, 2022, two cars caught fire at Chitrakoot Apartments, Sector 22, Dwarka. As informed by the president of the society, PC Chowdhary, the incident happened at around 12pm. No certain cause of the fire has been identified yet.

We called the fire brigade and it took around half an hour for it to reach.”
As per the information gathered, there was no casualty other than the two cars. The incident has been a topic of discussion in several social media groups of residents in Dwarka. The residents are confused about what induced the fire. Some residents are speculating that the incident happened owing to a tandoor that was kept in the parking lot. One of the messages says, “This is the fire that gutted 2 cars in Chitrakoot apartment parking lot due to tandoor coal thrown in the parking lot after some function last night."
