Noida: On the morning of May 31, 2022, at around 4:00 a.m., a fire broke out in a plastic molding factory in E-19, Sector-7 Noida. The fire reportedly was big enough to cover the entire factory. The fire is suspected to have started in the plastic stock of the factory and spread further. An official statement on the cause of the fire is yet to come from the fire department.
According to the information gathered, five fire engines reached the spot to control the fire. After about two and a half hours of effort, the situation settled a bit, however, the smoke continued to rise further. The police also reached the spot on time. No casualties have been reported.

Chief Fire Officer, Arun Kumar says, "At first, two vehicles were sent to control the fire but seeing the magnitude of the fire, two more vehicles were called from the fire station. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the damage."
