Dwarka: DLSA and DF observe International Yoga Day

Dwarka: DLSA (Delhi Legal Services Authority) South West organised a special group yoga program at Nanda Community Centre, sector 19, Amrahi Village on the occasion of International Yoga Day on June 21, 2022. The event was organised in association with Dwarka Forum (DF). Representatives from community groups from Dwarka such as Senior Hub Dwarka, lawyers of Dwarka court and RWA representatives were also present on the occasion. Yoga Guru Swami Amit Dev Ji displayed a few important yoga asanas and educated the participants on the benefits of yoga.

Kanwal Jeet Arora, Ld. Officer on Special Duty, High Court of Delhi was the chief guest of the event. During his address, he emphasised the need for yoga in our daily life and talked about how DLSA is working towards changing the lives of the marginalised section of society.

Anuradha Prasad, Secretary, DLSA and her team represented the organisation. In her initial remark, she spoke about the importance of yoga in our life and also expressed happiness that DLSA is coming out from legal boundaries and serving humankind by reaching out to the public with the help of associations such as the Dwarka Forum. She further added that DLSA and DF, though different identities have the same goal of serving the community and are working towards it together.

Members of DF were felicitated by Anuradha Prasad for their continuous support to DLSA and Dwarka community. Sushil Kumar, President, P Menon, Treasurer, and Anil Kundra, GB member represented DF. Towards the end, P Menon presented a vote of thanks to all organisers and participants.
