Dobaaraa trailer: Seems like a dobaara version of Spanish film Mirage

The trailer of Dobaaraa, starring Tapsee Pannu and Pavail Gulati has just been released on YouTube. From the looks of it, Dobaara seems like a clear adaptation of Mirage, a Spanish thriller movie released in 2018 and starring our favourite professor from Money Heist, Alvaro Morte. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Dobaaraa seems like Kashyap's experiment into the realms of the psycho-thriller. The upcoming movie trailer shows Tapsee determined to resolve a 26-year-old mystery. The audience is stunned and eager to see where Taapsee's time-travelling story would take them.

In the trailer, Antara(Taapsee) has recently moved to her new house with her husband and a child. Soon after, the family learns that a young boy was killed in the house next door during a thunderstorm 26 years ago. Taapsee's character is then seen conversing with the same young boy. While the trailer reveals that Dobaaraa tells the story of how Antara's personality changes the past during a thunderstorm, which affects her present.

Headlined by Taapsee Pannu, Dobaaraa has already travelled to several film festivals, including London Indian Film Festival 2022. The trailer has received a positive response from the audience. Now the question is whether this adaptation would do justice to the original one. The film would release on August 19.
