Noida: A major fire took place in a mattress factory in Sector 80 around, 11 pm on August 25, 2022. As gathered, 12 fire extinguishers were deployed by the fire station phase 2, to control the fire. Although heavy damage has been reported, there was no loss of life. However, the reason for the fire outbreak is not known yet.

When CitySpidey visited the site at 11 am, the fumes could still be seen from the building. The entire building had turned black from the fumes.

CitySpidey talked to Yogendra Chaurasiya, FSO, Phase 2. He says, "It took hours to control the fire as we got the information very late. The fire had spread all over the first floor of the factory, which is made of tin. We controlled the fire and saved the ground floor where all the stock was lying.”
