Dwarka: Community women run early morning on Sunday to empower themselves and to spared a message of empowerment of community women . The run was organised as run for women on the occasion of International Women’s Day by Dwarka Xpress Runners, a running group of Delhi NCR. It was organised to celebrate the strength of women. Around 200 Dwarka residents including 130 women took part in the run in which women's from all sphere of life, doctors, corporate heads, service sector, house wives and from 6 years to 70 years age, participated.
According to organising committee of the event from DXR group, the aim of the event was to make women's aware about the importance of health as a healthy women would encourage a healthy family.

The orgnising committee of DXR Sanjay Panghal, Ajeet Yadav, Madan Godara and Anoop Sharma presented a special trophy desgined for women participants in addition to T shirt.
Post run there was Bhangra with Dhol and breakfast for every participant.
