Noida Authority inspects Sector 53, listens to residents' grievances

Noida: On Thursday, officials from the Noida Authority inspected Sector-53 and met with residents and RWA members to discuss solutions to their problems under the "Noida Aapke Dwar" programme.

During the inspection, several officials from the Noida Authority, including the Deputy General Manager (Water), Senior Manager (Work Circle-5), Senior Manager (Water-2), and Senior Manager (V0/Y0-3) were present, along with the Assistant Project Engineer Public Health - 1) and related staff. Representatives from Sector-53 R.W.A. and residents of the sector also attended the meeting.

The CEO of the Noida Authority instructed the officials to visit Sector-53 on 23.03.2023 to address the issues faced by the residents under the "Noida Aapke Dwar" program. During the meeting, the RWA representative presented a list of demands that had been pending for several days.

The demands included:

●    Resolving the problem of waterlogging in Blocks B and C during the rainy season.
●    Constructing an incomplete drain outside the sector and covering open drains within the sector.
●    Resolving the issue of encroachment in Blocks B and C.
●    Maintenance and fencing of the boundary wall of the community hall and handing it over to the R.W.A.
●    Allotment of vacant plots in Sector-53.
●    Repairing the submersible pump in B-Block Park.
●    Resolving the parking problem.
●    Running a cleanliness drive in the sector and cleaning the sewer line.

The officials assured the residents and RWA representatives that they would address all the issues as soon as possible. They promised to resolve the maintenance problem within 5 days and ordered the relevant departments to look into the demands and resolve them. They also stated that they would review the progress in the next meeting.
