It is important to arrange your Sehri, the first meal of the day eaten before daylight, to maintain good health. People maintain fast from dawn to sunset, during this time, they refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, and engaging in immoral thoughts and actions. After sunset they break their fast with a meal called iftar shared with family and friends. A very modern beverage called Chocolate Lassi is a great way to break the fast at the start of Ramadan.
Keeping diabetes under control during the fast is possible with enough hydration, the consumption of nutrient-dense foods, and the avoidance of high-sugar and calorie-dense items. This Chocolate Lassi dish is a delicious way to add some flavour to your Sehri this Ramadan.

2 Tablespoons Water
Add frozen yogurt and ice cubes to a blender. Put in some salt to taste. The chocolate syrup should be drizzled on top. Blend in some roasted almond slices for extra flavour. If the blend is too thick, add little amount of water. Serve in a highball glass with a sprinkle of almonds.
