He said, "Women and children have been fetching water to their homes through the staircase of the society. They are facing a lot of problem due to disruption in water supply lines. It is very difficult for them to carry water from ground floor till their homes on the second or third floor.”
Residents said that they are buying water bottles for drinking but it is a big challenge for them to manage water shortage as all the taps including that of washroom and kitchen are running dry. Saxena said, ''When we went to the authority to discuss the issue, the authority said that we have to wait for the other two days as the work for improving the supply line between Sector 70 and Sector 71 is still in progress.”
