Home buyers of Supertech Azalia and Eco Village-2, high rises in Sector 68 Gurugram and Greater Noida, respectively on Saturday staged a protest against Mohit Arora, one of the directors of Supertech, outside his main office in Sector 58, Noida.

While protesting against the developer, the home buyers of both the housing projects complained that the developer had failed to live up to the their expectations. They said that he did not complete the project due to which they could not get the possession of their flats.

They further that the developer assured them that the project will be completed on time. But he did not complete it. The homebuyers also said that they had paid up to 60 to 95 per cent of the total flat cost to the developer.

pawnesh Garg, a home buyer, said that he had booked a flat with the developer under a subvention scheme which required the developer to pay EMI to the bank. But the developer did not pay EMI to the bank due to which the financial burden increased on him.

He said, "I don’t know how many years will it take to complete the housing project.''

They complained that the developer went against No EMI till possession agreement with the buyers. He has allegedly cheated the home buyers by flouting the agreement by not paying the EMI to the bank on time. Moreover, the developer had promised the home buyers that these housing projects would be completed on time but they are yet to be completed.
