Noida Authority said that the paintings were done to sensitise the residents towards cleanliness in their areas.

Around 78 children from different schools of Noida took time off their busy study schedule to transform the walls along the road at Botanical Garden in Sector 29 into vibrant artwork. The result was there for all to see. The walls of U-turn on the main road near Botanical Garden metro station has come alive to their beautiful paintings.

Since the theme of the project was cleanliness, paintings of flowers, greenery and environment dominated the walls. The aim for painting the wall was to spread awareness about clean and green India mission. The activity was carried out at the instructions of  Chief Executive Officer of Noida authority, Ritu Maheshwari. 

Appreciating the work of students, officials from the Noida Industrial Development Authority said that the paintings were done to sensitise the residents towards cleanliness in their areas. 

The officials said that the authority had organised a week long colouring festival under which students and teachers from five public schools, DPS School, Mahamaya School, Brahmanand School, Ramish International School and Somerville school, came together to paint the walls.
