Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar recorded 102 fresh cases of Covid-19, pushing the district tally to 6,408, according to the official data on Saturday.
The district’s overall recoveries have jumped to 5,498 after 65 patients were treated and discharged during the last 24 hours. The recovery rate stood at 85.79 per cent, according to the statistics.
The number of active cases stood at 867 in the district, while the death toll counted to 43, with a mortality rate of 0.67 per cent, it showed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,814 fresh cases, while 58 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health department said.
The state tally of positive cases has now reached 1,50,061, of which, 96,231 patients were treated and discharged so far.
There were 51,437 active cases across the state while death toll counted to 2,393.
