DDA adopts public engagement strategy for preparation of MPD-2041

New Delhi: To initiate the process for preparing Master Plan for Delhi 2041, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has planned public engagement strategy wherein meetings are scheduled with various stakeholders including RWAs, market and trader associations, industry associations, informal sector, women, children and youth, professional bodies and associations.

The master plan is being prepared in association with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA).

In the beginning, an online meeting is planned on September 2 with the RWAs of unauthorised colonies of Delhi. The meeting is intended to understand the issues and discuss possible solutions for improving the quality of life in these areas.

The RWAs/groups can register themselves for the meeting by sending an email to mpd2041@gmail.com. Subsequently, a link to the meeting with the time slot of the meeting and reference material will be shared via email.

The DDA has also launched a new interactive microsite as the “Public Engagement Portal for MPD-2041.”

Announcements of upcoming public consultation meetings and events will also be available on dda.org.in at feedback/suggestions for mpd2041 icon where all the press notes and public notices shall be available.
