New Delhi: Delhi on Tuesday reported 4,006 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,74,380. The number of new cases reported came out of 58,456 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 30,297 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 28,159 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 6.85 per cent.
86 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,260. 108 deaths were recorded on Monday, 68 on Sunday, 89 on Saturday, 98 on Friday and 91 on Thursday.
5,036 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,33,351 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 92.85 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Tuesday. Active cases declined by 1,116 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 31,769 active cases.
Out of the total 18,688 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 10,911 are vacant.
