New Delhi: Delhi on Sunday reported 2,706 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 5,92,250. The number of new cases reported came out of 73,536 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 32,023 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 41,513 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 3.68 per cent.
69 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,643. 77 deaths were recorded on Saturday, 73 on Friday, 82 on Thursday, 82 on Wednesday and 86 on Tuesday.
4,622 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,57,914 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 94.20 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by significant margin on Sunday. Active cases declined by 1,985 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 24,693 active cases.
Out of the total 18,814 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 12,669 are vacant.
