New Delhi: Delhi on Thursday reported 1,575 new cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,01,150. The number of new cases reported came out of 64,069 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 29,441 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 34,628 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 2.46 per cent.
61 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 9,874. 50 deaths were recorded on Wednesday, 57 on Tuesday, 63 on Monday, 69 on Sunday and 77 on Saturday.
3,307 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 5,72,523 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 95.23 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases by a significant margin on Thursday. Active cases declined by 1,793 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 18,753 active cases.
Out of the total 18,852 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 13,659 are vacant.
