Noida: Residents of highrises in Sector 76 and Sector 77 would get a lush green park shortly as saplings are being planted in the park near Prateek Wisteria and Antriksh Forest societies.
Amit Gupta, an active resident informed that officials from the horticulture department of Noida Industrial Development Authority visited the park on Wednesday and inspected the ongoing development.
He said that saplings are being planted in the park and also besides the main road passing along the park. The ongoing works include plantation, removing the waste and filling up of park areas with fresh soil etc. It will take time of at least four months to get completed.
The park, which spreads over several acres of land areas, will have facilities of jogging tracks, gymnastic equipment for exercising in the open and rainwater harvesting. The authority already gave tender for electrification and installation of light poles in the park. This work would kickstart once works being carried out by the horticulture department gets completed.
Gupta said that they are expecting the development of the park would fully be completed by April 2021 if things go as smoothly as it is currently going.
