NOFAA offers free legal service for smooth functioning of societies
Noida: Having observed legal obstacles in running the society smoothly, Federation of Noida Apartment Owners Association (NOFAA) has decided to extend this services initially to its member societies.
Rajiva Singh, president of the federation said, “AOAs and residents of highrise societies at times have to struggle on issues of day to day operations, due to lack of clarity on society laws. Sometimes the laws are silent on certain issues which become hindrance in day to day smooth functioning of high rise societies. Considering this, the federation has come up with a new initiative of extending legal services to them.”
The federation created a social media group for passing on appropriate legal information to members of respective societies. It urged members from highrise societies to join them for availing services. It would be offered without any charge. MM Mathur, an advocate, would guide them.
Participants would be able to debate on legal issues being faced by highrise society dwellers. Moreover, the federation would arrange a video conference on various legal issues related to the UP Apartment Act, under which highrise’s management boards are being run.
