Dwarka: The story of broken roads in Dwarka is not new. There are many stretches where they can be spotted. People somehow negotiate them while on the move but it becomes extremely difficult to pass through them after rain.
When these stretches are filled with water, it becomes impossible to spot the potholes, and chances of meeting an accident increases.
While being on a tour of the area, CitySpidey spotted one such broken road where vehicles were having a tough time passing through it. It is located on the slip road in front of Astha Kunj Apartments in Sector 3, Dwarka.
It is a very busy slip road that connects the Master Plan Road 201. All kinds of vehicles were found struggling to go ahead. Smaller vehicles were facing more difficulties. Their wheels totally sank in the potholes.

While being on the spot, CitySpidey also encountered a heart-wrenching incident of a Kachori seller falling off his bicycle with all of his items which he prepared to sell on the day to earn living.

The visibly upset Ram Suresh Pal shared that he lost around Rs 4,000 as his prepared food was spoiled when he fell in the water. He said that the said road is in a broken state for a long time.
“I used to be able to pass through the stretch on my bicycle every day but it was difficult for me to deal with the potholes today as they were filled with water. I am a poor man and have just lost Rs 4,000,” said Pal in a pensive tone.
It is a clear case of apathy of civic bodies. CitySpidey is covering the news to get the attention of the authorities for immediate repairing of the road.
