Noida: The tussle between the residents and the builder of Panchsheel Greens 1, Sector 16B, Greater Noida has increased. Residents are facing the issue of not being able to recharge for electricity. They alleged that the builder stop electricity recharge causing them inconvenience.
There was an argument between the residents and the staff member of the builder in which police had to intervene.

Residents shared that they are facing a lot of issues related to maintenance. Earlier, the lift of tower F4 was also not working. They shared that they paid the maintenance charges of 2 years in advance but the service have not been good. Now, most of the residents have stopped paying maintenance charges.
Despite several follow-ups, only one lift has been made functional by the maintenance team. The condition of the second lift is the same. According to the residents, they are facing difficulties while reaching their floors. Tower has 19 stories and only one lift is not sufficient.
Mohammad Suaib, a resident of the society said, “Residents gave advance money for 2 years but there has been nothing in the name of service, then residents decided that they would not give maintenance charges until the service aren't improved.”
Another resident, Ravi, who lives in tower F4 said, “The present tussle between the promoter and the residents is because the complaints of residents are not redressed in a time-bound manner. This has led to utter chaos and the non-availability of services for more than 3 years for which residents are demanding compensation now.”
He added, “Thw bilder behaves like a goon. Now, he has stopped the electricity recharge and all the residents are facing unconvinced. If the builder has issues with the residents, why he will not hand over the society to the residents.”
Another resident, Uday said, “The condition of society is pathetic. The road to the basement is broken. When we bought the flat, we gave 2 years maintenance charges in advance but the services are pathetic. Now, we are not paying maintenance charges and we demand better services. We are not saying that we will not pay the charges, we will, but not until builder signs an agreement mentioning what action will be taken if the situation repeats.”
In a conversation with CitySpidey, builder Anuj Choudhry said, “How do residents expect that we will give services without maintenance charges. We do not have money to pay salaries to the staff members. All the service will be provided after maintenance charges are paid.”
