Supertech Eco Village 2: Resident protest over pending registry

Noida: On November 14, homebuyers of Supertech Eco Village 2, protested against the builder over pending registries, in front of the maintenance office. Residents say that from authority to the public representatives, no one is ready to help them.

Residents shared that only meetings are held but no action is ever taken against the builder so that the registry can be started. The dues of the authority are increasing but the authority does not take any action against the Supertech builder. Residents have unanimously decided that they will go to RERA court in large numbers this week.

Residents alleged that the maintenance services are not good. The condition of society is becoming pathetic with each passing day. They alleged that the builder took the maintenance charges through an electric meter. If any residents pay the maintenance charges late, the builder applies a fine of 24 per cent on it.

Mihir Gautam, a resident of Eco Village 2 said, “Now the protest will be held every week. At the same time, we will also seek legal options. Nobody is listening to us. A lot of meetings have been held but to no effect. We will go to the authority office every Wednesday and raise our voice in front of the CEO and ACEO.”

Another resident, Anupam Mishra shared, “In between authority and the builder, residents are facing a lot of issues. There are no proper maintenance services. At one point authority had said that when the builder will pay his due then the registry will start and at the same time, the builder said he does not have money to pay. We residents are facing a lot of issues, and if it is not solved we will go to the high court to raise our issue.”
