GreNo: Cricket coaching to start at GreNo Sports Complex

Greater Noida: After badminton, skating and shooting at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium (Greater Noida Sports Complex), Greater Noida Authority has now made preparations to start coaching for cricket. The coaching of cricket will start from December 21, 2021. 

The CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Narendra Bhushan has given instructions to start the sports facilities present in the sports complex immediately. The Sports Complex Management Committee has sought a 'Request for proposal' (RFP) for coaches of 12 sports. Meanwhile, the Authority is looking to start coaching some of these sport disciplines immediately. Recently coaching for three sports badminton, skating and shooting have started.

Deep Chandra, ACEO of Greater Noida Authority said that after badminton, shooting and skating, now cricket coaching is starting. Players associated with these four sports will be able to further enhance their sports talent through coaches. Coach Asjith Jayaprakasham, trained by the National Cricket Academy (NCA), has been signed by the Authority as the cricket coach. The cricket coaching will be conducted four days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) from 2.30 pm onwards.
