GreNo: To make local commuting easier, the local bus service was started in Greater Noida on January 6 under the joint initiative of Greater Noida Authority and Roadways. However, no proper schedule of arrival and departure of buses was put in action which made it difficult for passengers to keep track. To make this new arrangement of local public transport more convenient, the timetable for the bus services have been decided and will soon be installed at the bus stops. On the instructions of the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Salil Yadav, in-charge of the local bus service, reviewed all the routes of the local bus service with the officials of the roadways.
Local bus service has started on five routes of Greater Noida. The first route is from Kasna Bus Depot to Nanua to Rajpur via Sirsa, Greater Noida Authority Office, Tilpata Chowk, Surajpur, LG Chowk and Pari Chowk. The first bus of this route runs from 6:15 am. After this, it runs at 9:45 am and again at 1:15 pm.
The second route is from Greater Noida Depot to Nanwa's Rajpur via Sirsa, Greater Noida Authority Office, Tilpata Chowk, Kisan Chowk, Surajpur, LG Chowk and Pari Chowk. The first bus of this route leaves from the depot at 6:30 am and then at 10:45 am.
The third route is from Kasna Bus Depot to Greater Noida Depot via Greater Noida Authority and Jagat Farms. The first bus of this route leaves the depot at 8:30 am, 9:45 am, 11:00 am, 12:15 pm, 1:30 pm, 2:45 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:15 pm.
The fourth route is from Greater Noida Depot via Gharbra and Greater Noida Authority. On this route, the first bus leaves from the depot at 7:00 am, 9:15 am, 11:30 am, 1:45 pm and then at 4:00 pm.
The fifth route is from Greater Noida via Hindon Bridge and Greater Noida Authority and back to Greater Noida Depot. The first bus of this route leaves at 7:45 am in the morning and then at 11:45 am.
