Greater Noida: On the occasion of the seventh foundation day of Government Institute of Medical Science, Greater Noida, on 25 February 2022, Narendra Bhooshan, CEO Greater Noida Authority presented a proposal for a multi-specialty satellite hospital of GIMS in front of the Chief Secretary, and Principal Secretary Medical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The residents of Greater Noida West and the team NEFOWA have been demanding for a multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida West for many years. Residents of Greater Noida are discontent over the lack of facilities at the Community Health Centre in Bisrakh. NEFOWA has raised this issue in Greater Noida Authority and demanded a multi-specialty hospital in Greater Noida West.

This proposal gave relief to the residents of Greater Noida West, on this subject NEFOWA shared a tweet, “नेफोवा और ग्रेनो वेस्ट के  निवासियों की GNW में मल्टी स्पेशलिटी सरकारी अस्पताल बनवाने की कई सालों  से लंबित माँग को @OfficialGNIDA के सीईओ नरेंद्र भूषण जी ने  @ChiefSecyUP एवँ @IasAlok के समक्ष रखा और सकारात्मक आश्वाशन मिला।  धन्यवाद @nbhooshan जी @CMOfficeUP @UPGovt @IIDGoUP.”

Manish Kumar, Senior Vice Presidents says, “The long-pending demand of the residents of Greater Noida West for a multi-specialty government hospital in GreNo West was raised by the CEO on the seventh foundation day of GIMS and we got a positive assurance. The multi-speciality hospital will become a ‘sanjivini’ for the residents of Greater Noida West.”

Currently, for facilities like X-ray, Ultrasound, ECG, the residents of Greater Noida West have to go to GIMS, which is more than 30 km away from Greater Noida West. Vikas Katiyar, a resident of Spring Meadows and the Vice President of NEFOWA says, “The residents of the Greater  Noida West have been demanding a multi-speciality hospital for many years. This news will give some positivity to the residents and it will also give hope to them. The Authority must look into this matter urgently as private hospitals do not come under everyone's budget."

Shweta Bharti, a resident of Greater Noida says, “This is a very good step by the CEO of Greater Noida Authority. It is very hard for pregnant women to travel so far for ultrasound. Mostly, middle-class families live near Bisrakh and they can not afford the fee of any private hospital.”
