After several delays, Aamir khan's Laal Singh Chadha trailer has dropped. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer is an official Hindi remake of the Academy Award-winning 1994 film Forrest Gump, which starred Tom Hanks in the lead role. The movie is all set to release on August 11, 2022.
If you have seen the original film, you know the drill. A young Aamir Khan, called Lal Singh Chaddha in the film, is suffering from a walking impediment and is mentally not very sound, only to overcome the former and undertake many life-changing and successful adventures including a cross-country marathon.
It appears to keep the spirit of what made Forrest Gump excellent while developing its own identity. However, Aamirs' Lal Singh seems to be caught up in a PK meets Rancho crossover. The tale appears to be well adapted for the Indian milieu, spanning several significant historical events in the country. It's a little early to talk about Kareena Kapoor in the trailer, but you know she is playing 'jenny' here, so you know what to expect.
