Greater Noida: On the noon of June 9, 2022, a huge traffic jam occurred on the Yamuna Expressway, owing to the arrival of Jewar Farmer's leader Rakesh Tikait. The farmers of Jewar, Greater Noida organized a Mahapanchayat which was going to be addressed by the farmer leader Tikait.

Tikait's supporters gathered on the Expressway while he was going to address the Mahapanchayat, causing a major traffic jam on one of the busiest highways. However, the police arrived and cleared the jam.
The farmers were busy protesting near Jewar demanding more compensation for their land. On the arrival of their leader, they welcomed him in the middle of the Expressway which caused problems for other commuters amidst this harsh sunny weather.
