'Doctor G' trailer out- Ayushmann is a struggling male gynac

Ayushmann Khurrana has played a significant role in breaking the mould through unconventional social comedies spanning a decade. The Badhaai Do actor is back with another unconventional social comedy 'Doctor G', where he plays the role of a male gynaecologist. 'Doctor G' pushes the boundaries with a new and humorous trailer that features him in a never-before-seen avatar. The movie seems promising the cast chosen here is impressive, with Sheeba Chaddha and Shefali Shah.

Dr Uday Gupta (Ayushmann) is struggling to be a gynaecologist because he knows that women are uncomfortable with male gynaecologists. The trailer opens with Ayushmann getting assaulted in a clinic by a patient's spouse. Ayushmann, who is uncomfortable examining women, asks a fellow college student to change the topic from him because he wants to study orthopaedics instead of gynaecology.

Shefali Shah plays a senior Gynac in the film, and Ayushmann's mentor tells him to lose his man touch if he wants to treat his patients comfortably. The trailer concludes with Ayushmann committing a mistake while treating a patient.

In the movie, Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of Dr Fatima, his classmate and his love interest, while Sheeba Chaddha plays the role of his mother. The film marks the directorial debut of Anubhuti Kashyap.
