Noida: A week after the incident of eve-teasing came into light, residents and developer have swung into action to stop these kinds of action within the Supertech Capetown society located at Sector 74 in Noida.

According to Arun Sharma, President of Apartments Owners Association (AOA), they have reached to a consensus of replacing the security guards and facility manager in next couple of weeks. 

He said that the developer had already banned those real estate brokers, who committed eve-teasing with the woman. They were operating from the society earlier. But now they have been barred from entering the society. Their offices have also been shut down.

There were around 200 residents and few police personal present in the meeting. While the meeting was in progress, residents have also demanded to close down all commercial activities taking place in the society.

They have also demanded the developer to handover the society to the association for running it in better way. To address this issue, the developer will be meeting with the residents again on Monday in the late evening. 

Sharma said that the developer had agreed that the security agency would be replaced in next one month's time. Six security guards were removed immediately for their carelessness.
