Gurugram: With 69 people testing positive for Covid-19, Gurugram cumulative tally reached 9,840 on Tuesday, according to the district health department.

As many as 66 patients were treated and discharged during the 24 hours period, pushing the overall recoveries to 9,055 in the district. 

The recovery rate reached another high of 92.02 per cent, which is the highest among other districts in the state. It was 91.99 per cent on Monday and 91.88 per cent on Sunday, according to the statistics.

At the moment, there are 659 active cases in the district, of which, 8 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 68 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 29 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 554 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 798 new cases and 11 deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 43,227, while the deadly virus has claimed 500 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 590 patients have been recovered in last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 36,082 in the state. The state recovery rate slightly dipped to 83.47 per cent from 83.65 per cent on Monday and 83.54 per cent on Sunday, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,645. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 135, among these, 113 patients are on oxygen support, while 22 on ventilators.

The state’s Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.64 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.16 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 29 days.
