Gurugram: Gurugram’s cumulative tally of Covid-19 crossed the mark of 10,000 with 78 more people testing positive of the infection, while 45 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, according to the district health department.

Of the total 10,016 caseload of coronavirus, 9,182 patients were treated and discharged in the district so far. The recovery rate slightly dipped to 91.67 per cent from 91.94 per cent on Wednesday, 92.02 per cent on Tuesday and 91.99 per cent on Monday, according to the statistics.

The death toll due to coronavirus climbed to 128 as one more person succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours, the health bulletin said.

According to the health bulletin, there were 706 active cases across the district, of which, 17 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 81 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 31 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 577 patients are in home isolation.

Meanwhile, Haryana state recorded 793 new cases and eight deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases has now reached 44,817, while the deadly virus has claimed 511 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

However, four districts including Rohtak, Sirsa, Yamuna Nagar and Charkhi Dadri did not report any cases in the last 24 hours, as per the state health bulletin.

As many as 792 patients have been recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 37,486 in the state. The state recovery rate slightly improved to 83.64 per cent from 83.35 per cent on Wednesday and 83.47 per cent on Tuesday, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,820. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 146, among these, 121 patients are on oxygen support, while 25 on ventilators.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.63 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.14 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 30 days.
