Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 12,373 after 120 fresh cases of Covid-19 were recorded on Saturday, according to the official data.
In a relief, a total of 206 patients have been discharged during the day, taking the district’s overall recoveries to 10,685, the health bulletin said.
The number of active cases slightly dipped to 1,637 from 1,723 on Friday after the number of daily recovered patients surpassed the new cases of coronavirus in the district.
So far, the death toll counted to 51 and the fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.41 per cent.
The recovery rate slightly improved to 86.35 per cent from 85.52 per cent on Friday. It was 83.16 per cent on last Saturday, the data showed.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 4,412 new cases, pushing the state’s infection count to 3,82,835, while the death toll rose to 5,517 as 69 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 57,086 active cases, while 3,20,232 patients have been recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 83.64 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.44 per cent.
