Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 16,769 on Saturday as 150 fresh cases of Covid-19 recorded in the last 24 hours period, according to the official data.
As many as 148 patients were treated and discharged during the day, bringing the overall recoveries to 15,611. The recovery rate slightly improved to 93.09 per cent from 93.04 on the previous day, the data showed.
The number of active cases in the district slightly rose to 1,092 from 1,089 on Friday. It was 1,105 on Thursday, 1,090 on Wednesday, 1,105 on Tuesday, 1,133 on Monday, 1,229 on Sunday, and 1,384 on Saturday, as per the data.
The death toll remained counted to 66 as no new death linked to coronavirus recorded on the day. The fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.39 per cent, same as on the previous day, as per the data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 2,277 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s infection count to 4,68,238. The death toll rose to 6,854 as 25 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 27,681 active cases, while 4,33,703 patients have recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 92.62 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.46 per cent.
