Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 16,984 on Monday, as 120 more people tested of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the official data.
The overall recoveries jumped to 15,848 after 132 patients were treated and discharged during the day. The recovery rate slightly improved to 93.31 per cent from 93.19 per cent on the previous day, the data showed.
The number of active cases in the district slightly dropped to 1,070 from 1,082 on Monday. It was 1092 on Saturday, 1,089 on Friday, 1,105 on Thursday, 1,090 on Wednesday, 1,105 on Tuesday, and 1,133 on Monday, as per the data.
The death toll remained counted to 66 as no new death linked to coronavirus recorded on the day. The fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.38 per cent, better from 0.39 per cent on the previous day, as per the data.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 1,814 new cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the state’s infection count to 4,72,077. The death toll rose to 6,902 as 21 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 26,654 active cases, while 4,38,521 patients have recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 92.89 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.46 per cent.
