Noida: Residents of Sector 50 are all set to get a good footpath soon as the Noida Authority has already begun the development in the sector. The path has been leveled and brick brackets are being joined on the site, an official said.
The road falls between the green belts in the sector. Officials said that they have removed illegal occupancy from the site and have been carrying out the development there. It would take a few days more to complete the work.
Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Sector 50 raised the issue several times in the past and had also demanded development of footpath on both sides of the road, which falls between green belt.
The development would come as a big relief for pedestrians and residents especially those who visit the central market in the sector for shopping. Currently, they have to walk by road as both sides of the road are not walkable.
Once the development is completed, it will not only be convenient for residents but the area will also look beautiful, a resident said.
