Summer is the time of the year when not only plants but the human body desires some hydration. The dry hot summer heat results in added perspiration and loss of energy. You need a regular amount of water to recharge yourself and get going.

You can always relate summertime with shikanji, the refreshing and easy to made drink is delicious and unique. The main ingredients are lemonade, roasted cumin, pepper, and black salt are the main ingredients. You can easily spot small carts selling shikanji on the streets of India.
