Tree plantation at cremation ground Sec 24, Dwarka

Dwarka: A tree plantation rive was organised at the cremation ground of Dwarka in Sector 24 on July 23, 2022. The drive was organised by Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi sanstha in collaboration with the Horticulture Department of Municipal Corporation of Delhi and the management committee of Dwarka Sector 11 Gurdwara. The drive was attended by members of several social organisations of Dwarka such as Dwarka Forum, Green circle, Senior Citizen Association, Seniors Hub Dwarka, morning walkers of Sector 22/23 and more. 

• Every participant planted at least one plant in the drive. A total of around 525 plants were planted all over in the complex. Kamaljit Sehrawat, former mayor and many eminent persons from Dwarka also participated in the drive enthusiastically and planted many plants. 

A light refreshment was served to all the  participants and those who worked tirelessly to prepare the beds suitable for plantation
