Gurugram: With 64 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, Gurugram tally has now reached 9,398, while one more person succumbed to the infection, according to the district health department.

The district’s overall recoveries have jumped to 8,548 after 95 more patients getting discharged during the last 24 hours period, the daily health bulletin said.

The recovery rate reached another high of 90.95 per cent in the district, according to the statistics.
The death toll counted to 125 in the district.

The total number of active cases stood at 725, of which 3 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals. 75 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres whereas 100 are under observation at district Covid care centre. 547 patients are in home isolation.

Till date, the district has taken 1,12,870 samples, of which 1,00,753 were found to be negative, it said.

Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 752 new cases and seven deaths linked to coronavirus. The overall number of positive cases now counted to 38,548, while the deadly virus has claimed 455 lives so far in the state, the state health bulletin said.

As many as 734 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of recovered patients to 31,960 in the state. The state recovery rate stood at 82.91 per cent, the data showed.

At the moment, the number of active cases stood at 6,133. The number of positive patients in critical care counted to 140, among these, 115 patients are on oxygen support, while 25 on ventilators.

The state Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 5.69 per cent while the fatality rate stood at 1.18 per cent. The state doubling rate of coronavirus cases is 26 days.
