Noida: Gautam Budh Nagar’s cumulative tally reached 12,757 as 186 more people tested positive of Covid-19 on Monday, according to the official data.
As many as 157 patients were treated and discharged during the day, bringing the district’s overall recoveries to 11,107, the health bulletin said.
The number of active cases slightly increased to 1,599 from 1,570 on the previous day, while the death toll linked to coronavirus counted to 51 in the district.
The fatality rate among the positive cases stood at 0.39 per cent better from 0.40 per cent on Sunday and 0.41 on Saturday.
The recovery rate slightly dropped to 87.06 from 87.10 per cent on Sunday. It was 85.75 per cent on last Monday, the data said.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh recorded 3,838 new cases, pushing the state’s infection count to 3,90,875, while the death toll rose to 5,652 as 60 patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, there are 53,953 active cases, while 3,31,270 patients have been recovered so far. The state’s recovery rate counted to 84.75 per cent, while the mortality rate stood at 1.44 per cent.
