Noida: Residents of Ajnara Le Garden Society in Greater Noida West are having difficulty with the claims of the presence of a leopard in the area. There’s a palpable panic in the society.
The forest department has formed a team to search for the leopard. Residents have been instructed not to go out of their homes.
A circular was issued for the residents of the Society at 9:15 am. It reads: “A leopard has been seen near Ajnara Le Garden Housing Society. All are requested to stay in their homes.”

After receiving the information, Police and Forest Department officials rushed to the area. But no leopard was spotted. People have been asked to stay in their homes.
Pramod Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) said, “Search operation is still on, and people have been asked not to venture out as a precautionary measure.”
Mritunjay Jha, a resident of Supertech Ecovillage 3 opposite Ajnara Le Garden, said, “There is fear in our Society as well.
