New Delhi: Delhi on Wednesday recorded 3,686 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 3,40,436. The number of new cases reported came out of 59,064 tests conducted on the previous day.
Delhi recorded 3,579 new cases on Tuesday, 2,154 on Monday, 3,299 on Sunday, 3,259 on Saturday, 3,428 on Friday, 3,483 on Thursday and 3,324 on Wednesday, as per the data.
59,064 tests were conducted, of which 16,629 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 42,435 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 6.24 per cent.
Delhi on Wednesday reported 47 deaths due to coronavirus, taking the death toll to 6,128. 41 deaths were reported on Tuesday, 31 on Monday, 28 on Sunday, 35 on Saturday, 22 on Friday, 26 on Thursday and 44 on Wednesday.
3,444 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 3,10,191 in the national capital. The recovery rate slightly increased to 91.11 per cent from 91.09 per cent on the previous day.
The number of active cases in the national capital now counted to 24,117. Among them, 14,227 are in home isolation.
Out of the total number of 15,713 beds in Covid hospitals, 10,632 are vacant.
