The managements of Delhi Public School, Sector 132, and Cambridge School, Sector 27, in Noida submitted a report sought by the fee hike committee formed recently by the District Magistrate of Gautam Budh Nagar.

On April 15, the three-member committee had visited the schools and had demanded an explanation for fee hike.

Ramanuj Singh, city magistrate, Noida, who is leading the committee, told City Spidey, “We have heard the parents’ concerns and received replies of both the schools. The committee will now review every point and prepare a report, which will be handed over to the District Magistrate on April 21.”

The committee had sought details such as number of staff members, their salaries and the fee hiked by the schools in the past five years.

According to the city magistrate, the committee has received complaints from parents of children studying in only four schools of Noida. The committee will inspect Khaitan Public School, Sector 40, and Raghav Global School, Sector 122, either on April 19 or April 20.

The committee is open to receiving complaints from parents of children studying in other schools in Noida till April 19.
